Bread & Chips

Bread and Chips is a project in response to the lack of any PC only online gaming magazines. Larger gaming sites often have a PC section, but it often gets overshadowed by the console section, and the content always reflects this. Add a design that shows lack of thought, lots of tables for layout and some intrusive advertising, and a fundamentally flawed website is what you have.

A Change

Bread and Chips aims to change this. An online PC gaming magazine, focused on providing users with the content they want in a totally uncompromising way.

Design

The ingredients needed design-wise to achieve these goals? Simple. A basic layout based around some fantastic looking in-game screenshots, a meticulously planned grid system, considered typography and a sparse yet effective colour scheme .

The design of Bread & Chips is currently evolving and being developed using Expression Engine.
