
A film that has been dubbed by press 'the best gangster film since Goodfellas'. A very bold statement (since there's been a few crackers since 1990ish), and mostly true. A more accurate summation would probably be 'one of the best gangster films since Goodfellas'.

The man known only to some as 'Colly' remains a mysterious presence in most stew circles. People only know that he uses a 'fuck off big pan' and ugly Sneinton veg, but somehow, his stew reached almost national fame. The question is, is it the product of a spinster who works too much and has 31 cats? Or will Michelin chefs bow down to this anonymous figure, kissing his feet in return for his recipes? Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino are two of the coolest directors on the planet, and I'm a rather large fan of their films. Planet Terror is one half of the double feature they put together that managed, somehow, not to get mentioned in pubs or talked about in the office, nor did it set fanboys into a frenzy. I for one, do not know why.

With the iPhone finally being released soon here in the UK, the mobile web is "about to explode", according to various sources. Explode in a good way, I presume. The question is, with the arrival of this landmark in the evolution of the mobile web, will us web-people have to reconsider the way we deal with this technology.

The sequel to the Russian film Night Watch is Day Watch, a beautiful depiction of modern day Moscow complete with an undercover world of supernaturalism. People were walking out of the cinema half way through, but even the spilling of my cheese and chilli nachos on my lap wouldn't have torn my eyes away.
